Sample Hand Written (Holographic) Will
I, John Doe, am a resident of ____(type your city)_____, Wyoming. I am an adult person of sound mind. I declare this to be my Last Will and Testament. I made this will of my own free will. I was not forced into it. I was not tricked into it. This will revokes all other wills that I have made.
Out of my estate, I want all of my bills and debts paid. I want the cost of any doctor's bills to be paid out of my estate. I want the cost of my funeral to be paid out of my estate.
I leave to ____(type name)____ of ____(type city and state)____, my TV, my living room furniture and one hundred dollars ($100.00).
I leave to my son, ____(type name)____ of ____(type city and state)____, the rest of my coin and stamp collection, and one hundred dollars ($100.00).
I leave to my grandson, ____(type name)____of ____(type city and state)____, my car and my tools.
I leave the rest of my property to my children, Mary Jones and James Doe, in equal shares.
I nominate and appoint my daughter, Mary Jones, as Personal Representative of this Will. She should be allowed to serve without bond.
This disposes of all my property.

Note:
• This is just a sample will. It should be changed to suit your needs.
• When writing your own will be sure put in the names of your own family members and what you want to give them. Take out all the old names.
• When you give someone a gift, say how you know the person.
For instance,
"I leave to Mary Jones, my daughter, my TV" or "to my dear old friend, Bill Pepper, I leave $500."
• If you have children that you do not wish to leave anything to, say so.
For instance,
"To my daughter, Penny, I leave nothing."
• When a personal representative is "allowed to serve with out bond" it means that they do not have to put down a deposit of money before taking care of your will.
