You may want to makes changes, if you answer yes to any of these questions.

  • Has there been married or divorced since your last will?
  • Have any of the people you wanted to give money to died?
  • Have they gotten married or divorced?
  • Have you lost or gained a lot of money or things since then?
  • Have the tax law changed?
  • Have children been born or adopted since the last will?
  • Do you want to change your personal representative?
  • Do you want to change a guardian?

Ask yourself this . . .

Do you believe that your money and things go where you want them to go if you leave your will the way it is?

If your answer to this is no, then you may wish to make changes.

If you are not sure what the answer is, ask a lawyer for help.
